 Sid is the President of Miedema Auctioneering and Appraisals,
Inc. He has been a professional auctioneer with 16 years of experience. He is
a licensed Real Estate Broker, a Past President of the Michigan State Auctioneers
Association (1992), and a past seminar presenter for the National Auctioneers Association,
the Michigan State Auctioneers Association, the Robert Morris Association and several
large lending institutions. Sid is a Licensed Auctioneer in Ohio, Indiana and
Wisconsin.
Miedema attended the Agricultural Technology Program at Michigan
State University and is also a graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneering in
Mason City, IA (1984). In the program at Michigan State, he was awarded Outstanding
Agricultural Technology Student Dairy Science of Graduating Class of 1981. He was
also awarded the CAI (Certified Auctioneers Institute) from AMI (The Auction Marketing
Institute) after successfully completing their program. Currently he is a candidate
in the AARE (Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate) Program at AMI.
Sid continues in the Auction Business selling Construction
Equipment, Real Estate, Agricultural, Marine, Industrial & Business Liquidations with
his family.
