Ed is a graduate of Flint St. Agnus High School. He has an Associates Degree in
Business Management and is a graduate of Missouri Auction School (1987), the Certified
Auctioneers Institute (1997) and the Certified Appraisers Guild of America. He is a member
of the Fowlerville Rotary, a Board Member of Livingston County Catholic Social Services, a
member of Toastmasters with Advanced Silver and Advanced Leader designation. Ed speaks
before Rotary, Optimist, Kiwinis & Church Groups on the Auction Profession, Drug abuse
in the Elderly, Toastmasters & the programs offered by the Livingston County Catholic
Services. He is active in his church as an Usher and Lay Distributor. He has worked at the
Michigan Horse Auction for 13 years where he started in the Auction Profession. Ed
conducts the Horse Auction every Saturday night and the hay and straw auction every
Monday. In his spare time, he works over 230 Auctions a year as a contract Auctioneer
selling business liquidations, commercial and heavy equipment, farm equipment, farm
liquidations, estates, household, antiques, charity auction, consignment sales and real
estate auctions. He conducts Fundraisers for schools, churches, 4-H, Cub Scouts, Girl
Scouts and individuals in need.
As the 1999 MSAA Bid Calling Champion,
Ed will serve his association and auction profession well. Along with his title, he has
won an entry into the 1999 International Auctioneers Championships to be held in
conjunction with the National Auctioneers Association 50th Anniversary Convention in Grand Rapids in July. Come lend your support to
