Noah Smith
MSAA 2003 Auctioneer Champion

Noah Smith, 23 year old, Cedar Springs resident and 1998 graduate of Kent City High School. Noah has been around the auction business ever sense he was able to walk, starting out as "trash pick-up boy" at the age of about 5, then moved up to "runner" at the age of 11 and did that job until the age of about 15 when he started ringing. In 1999 he graduated from Repert Auction School and went to work with Art Smith Auctioneers as an auctioneer. In 2002 he entered into partnership with Art Smith and is currently working fulltime in the business. Noah is also an agent with Westdale Realty out of Sparta & spends most of his realty time working on promoting the real estate auction business. He has earned his G.A. and G.P.P.A. designations from AMI, and was the 2002 recipient of the Lloyd Braun Memorial Scholarship.

Noah plans to make a career of the auction profession. He loves to hunt and has taken many white tailed deer, western antelope, turkeys and 2 Northern Quebec caribou. You can see many of his hunting pictures on the web page at www.artsmithauctions.com.
